New counters for Permanent Residence Permit application and application to acquire property In a press communique, the Board of Investment has announced the coming into operation of two counters to handle applications for Permanent Residence and to acquire an appartment. Firstly, Non-citizens namely investors, professionals, self-employed or retired non-citizens eligible for a permanent residence permit may submit an application for the same to the Prime Minister's Office at the following address:- Residence Permit Section, Prime Minister's Office, Home Affairs Division, 4th floor, Government Centre, Port Louis. A non-citizen who has been granted a permanent residence permit may submit an application to acquire one appartment for his personal residence located in a building of not les than two(2) floors above ground floor to the Board of Investment at the following address:- Managing Director, Board of Investment, 10th floor, One Cathedral Square Building, 16 Jules Koenig St, Port Louis.
